Phalanx LabsBack to the Behavior Control Map

Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 September 2026 · Applies to phalanxlabs.io and the Behavior Control Map

You share private information to get a private analysis. This page says exactly what we collect, what we do with it, who can see it, and how to get it corrected or deleted.

1. Who we are

Phalanx Labs ("Phalanx", "we", "us") sells the Behavior Control Map, a private written analysis produced from your answers to a structured intake. Phalanx is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Questions and requests about your information go to manish.shetty@phalanxlabs.io. We reply within 7 days.

3. How we use it

  • To produce your Behavior Control Map from your intake answers and review it before release.
  • To deliver the Map to you privately and let you access it again later.
  • To take payment, send a receipt and handle refunds under the Clear Pattern Guarantee.
  • To answer support requests and clarification questions about your intake.
  • To send you emails about your purchase. Any other email from us has an unsubscribe link.
  • To measure and improve the site and our advertising, using aggregated usage data.
  • To meet legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your intake answers or your Map with advertisers. Our advertising and analytics tools receive only site-usage events such as a page view or a completed purchase; they never receive your intake answers, the behaviors you chose, or the content of your Map.

4. Who can see your intake and your Map

Your intake answers and your Map are seen only by the system that builds the Map and the Phalanx Behavior Specialist who reviews it. Access inside Phalanx is limited to the people needed to produce, review and support your Map.

Nothing from your intake or your Map is published, quoted or used in marketing without your separate written permission. If we ever ask, you can say no with no effect on your purchase.

5. Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Each one receives only what it needs for its job and is bound by contract to keep it confidential and use it only for us.

  • Payment processing and checkout (your name, email and payment details).
  • Website hosting and content delivery (site usage data).
  • Email delivery (your name, email and the content of emails we send you).
  • The automated analysis and document tools that turn your intake answers into a draft Map, operated by Phalanx or by processors under confidentiality terms.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms (site usage events only, as described in section 3).

Some providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard for those transfers.

6. Cookies and advertising measurement

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to keep the site working (for example, remembering where you arrived from during your visit) and to measure advertising, including the Meta Pixel and comparable tools. These tools record events such as a page view, a click on a purchase button or a completed order. They do not receive your intake answers or the content of your Map.

Advertising measurement starts only after you select Allow in the public page's advertising preference notice. Select Decline to continue without it. You can change that choice using Advertising preferences in the page footer when measurement is available. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Changing your preference stops future measurement; it cannot recall events already sent. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to purchase or receive a Map.

7. How long we keep it

  • Intake answers and your Map: for as long as you keep access to your Map, and up to 24 months after delivery, so we can answer questions and honour the guarantee. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Purchase and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 7 years.
  • Support emails: up to 24 months after the request is closed.
  • Site usage data: in aggregated form. Identifiable analytics data is kept no longer than 26 months.

8. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Intake answers and Maps are stored on access-controlled systems and are not stored on shared or personal devices. Access is limited to named people and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • Send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including your intake answers and your Map.
  • Correct information that is wrong.
  • Delete your intake answers, your Map, or your account information. We will keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as the payment record.
  • Stop sending you marketing email.
  • Explain how we use your information, or object to a particular use.

Email manish.shetty@phalanxlabs.io from the address you used at checkout. We may ask you to confirm your identity before releasing or deleting anything. We respond within 30 days and there is no charge.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are performance of the contract with you (producing and delivering your Map), our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the service), consent (for marketing email and advertising cookies), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records). You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, the rights above cover your rights to know, correct, delete and opt out under the CCPA. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the site-usage events described in section 6, and you can opt out of those by blocking cookies.

10. Age

The Behavior Control Map is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has completed an intake, email us and we will delete it.

11. Not medical care

The intake asks about habits and the situations around them. Answers are used only to produce your Map. The Map is a private educational analysis and is not a medical record, a diagnosis or treatment. We do not share your answers with any clinician, employer or insurer.

12. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects how your intake answers or your Map are handled, we will email the address on your purchase before the change takes effect. Other changes are posted here with a new date.
